I have a background in Architecture and visual arts. I found out that I loved photography when I first picked up a real SLR camera. Everything just clicked (badoom-ching) with me once I started learning photography and its been my favorite outlet for art since.
I love the challenge and fun of trying to capture the essence of a person, event, location, or object. I think that weddings are a ton of fun and really keep me on my toes. Theres so many different personalities, locations, lighting situations, and things going on at weddings. It is an exciting time and I love trying to capture all the emotion and beauty of people’s very special day. Capturing special memories is such a huge responsibility and it is also so rewarding. Every email, hug, letter, and phone call we receive after someone has received their photos is a little slice of heaven on earth.
I have a wonderful wife and two amazing sons (4yrs and 2 yrs). My wife helps with the photography process and sometimes is with me shooting at weddings or photo shoots. She also shoots by herself as well and is oozing with talent and beauty in all that she does. I am so blessed to have my family and they are the most important people to me on this earth. We are followers of Jesus Christ and what he has done for us affects all aspects of our lives and my photography. We hope that His love for us comes through in all that we do.
